Good to know
Bring these
A holiday house is not a hotel. Here is what people most often forget, and what is already waiting in the house.
Bring from home
None of it comes with the house, and the shop a kilometre away does not always have everything.
Toilet paper and kitchen roll
There is rarely more than a single roll waiting on arrival.
Washing-up liquid, cloths and bin bags
Count on bringing your own for the whole stay.
Salt, pepper, oil and spices
The kitchen is fully equipped with tools, not with food.
Towels for the pool and the beach
Bed linen and towels are ordered through Dancenter.
Sun cream and insect repellent
The terrace is open to the sky and the grass runs down to the water.
Worth bringing
Not essential, but it makes the week better.
Bikes or e-scooters
It is flat and straight into Ebeltoft, about five kilometres. With bikes you need not take the car to the beach, the bakery or the harbour.
A charging cable for the car
The house has a 230 V 16 A CEE socket. Bring your own mode 2 charger.
More swimwear than you think
With a pool and a beach at the same address, nothing ever dries fully.
Board games and books
There is wifi and a television, but also rainy days with ten people indoors.
Boots and waterproofs
Mols Bjerge and the coastal paths are best in whatever weather they happen to have.
Firewood or firelighters
The stove is the best piece of furniture in the house come October.
